Spawn of a Corporate Blog

Today marks the Grand Opening of our corporate blog, brought forth through the efforts of Blogging Systems Group. Not only has Blogging Systems established the Webographers corporate blog, but will act as a corporate sponsor for our upcoming short course on Blogs. See the press release about this strategic partnership.
As the REAL ESTATE WEBOGRAPHER™ certification is rooted on real estate technologies, teaching their value proposition and how they "work", I'd like to use our first post to discuss how this blog was "spawned". There were many "stages" within Blogging Systems to get this blog off the ground. The process was very iterative, "manufactured" through a process like a well-oiled machine of designers, developers and quality assurance personnel at Blogging Systems.
Besides the gathering of requirements from Webographers of the desired look and branding, we have asked Richard Nacht, CEO & Founder of Blogging Systems to give more insight on the "behind-the-scenes" operations on what it took to make this happen.
I first met Marc at the Inman conference in San Francisco last year. I was impressed with his professional demeanor and was imminently interested in forging some type of business relationship. I'm happy to say Marc was as well. Our first discussion revolved around the idea of Blogging Systems Group being the facilitators for the Webographers training course on real estate blogging, and progress is being made to bring that to fruition.
It wasn't long, however, until we each realized that BSG would be a natural to build the company blog as well. Marc was clear on what purpose the blog would serve and gave us exactly the direction we needed to bring it from concept to reality. I'm happy to see the day has finally arrived when we unveil it.
During the discussions over the recent months we have moved from initial concept, through design and development. While the Blogging Systems platform is one that is extremely scalable, each client has their own needs that need to be addressed. Marc and his team were always available to give us quick responses to our requests for clarification and direction. We think we've nailed the final product - except that our new software version due in less than 30 days will add many significant features to make the platform even more robust.
I think Marc's vision of providing real estate professionals with the knowledge needed to be fluent with web-centric applications is not only brilliant but well-timed as the Internet continues to gain prominence as a critical component in every real estate agent's marketing and business growth strategy. The adoption rate among the industry in the use of these tools is high, but the need for further education on how they can fulfill a marketing function is vital.
I'm grateful to Marc and his staff for giving Blogging Systems Group the opportunity to be involved in both the training aspect of the Webographers mission and the development of the Webographers blog as well.
All the best to Blogging Systems and thanks Richard!
